Hello. I have a problem with my 2012 air 6100-mz AP running the latest firmware(c1140 k9w7 tar 124 21a jy tar). It is a regular AP running Cisco AnyConnect VPN. I was using a netgear 3rd Gen stick with a USB adapter for the internet service. When I do a batch file to convert my AP it runs the conversion but when it reboots I get the following message "dual wan registered" and the wireless access is lost. It shows it finding a DHCP server and then it says to "enter correct password and press enter". When I do that it says "Wireless Network Status not found" and nothing happens. But when I plug a ethernet cable directly to the AP I am able to log in to the netgear router and the AP can connect wirelessly with no problem. Please could you help me please. The signal strength is good and the router is at the same distance from the AP and internet signal. Thanks

hello, has anyone ever had any problems with installing ap3g2-k9w7-tar.153-3.JPK1.tar? I am running it on a c1140-k9w7-tar.124-21a.JA.bin which i converted with your tutoria to independent mode. I have a batch file that I am using but I keep getting messages on the console stating that TCP is not supported on the built in MQTT server. Do I need to change the port it is running on to avoid this issue?

This is a decent how-to. However, I would like a few comments. I am running a c1140-K9W7-tar.124-21a.JA.bin firmware version and have used the method you describe for the AP configuration. I successfully got my AP to be an Independent. I have tested it with a Windows PC, Linux Server (FreeBSD), and my Android Phone. I can get my PC and Linux server to successfully retrieve the firmware from the AP.
